This week, to expand upon last week’s post about Mercury Retrograde, and the importance of slowing down, tuning in, and evaluating during this time, I’d like to share some questions with you to journal on, and inspire you to do just that - slow down, tune in, and evaluate. If you have the tools, I’d recommend smudging yourself before sitting down to journal on these questions (for information on how to smudge and what smudging is, click here). If you don’t have smudging tools, no worries. Then, I would recommend journaling on these questions as soon as you first wake up in the morning. This is because, it’s important to approach these questions with a clear mind and in a centered state of being. If you approach these questions with a mind clouded by anxious thoughts, or stress, or melancholy, then, your answers may not arise from a place of truth.

Take your time with these questions. Don’t force any answers that don’t come organically to you. You can journal on all of the questions at the same time, or, spread them out throughout the week. This is deep inner work. It carries with it the potential to dredge up previously buried or hidden junk. So, make sure that when you are finished journaling, that you do something to show yourself some love and replenish your soul. What you do after can be as simple as sitting in silence for a few moments, or as grand as taking a long, hot bath or, anything in between.

  1. What do I most need right now?
  2. What is the one thing that I would really like help/guidance/clarity on?
  3. What am I most grateful for?
  4. What is shifting in my outer life, and in my internal being?
  5. What do I need to let go of?
